Each operatory is equiped with a surgical microscope and the latest dental equipment. Microscopes are used to examine each treated tooth and the root canal system. Each operatory is also equipped with a computer which allows the doctor immediate access to patient history and radiographs. In most cases film has been replaced with digital imaging to reduce patient exposure to radiation.

We meet or exceed all sterilization and patient protection procedures recommended by the CDC and OSHA. Our office takes pride in making sure that all dental instruments are sterilized. We use wrapped instrument cassettes for all procedures. We have two large autoclaves plus a small sterilizer which are monitored for efficiency by Baylor College of Dentistry once a week to ensure proper functioning. OSHA regulations are followed.

In some procedures a photo be taken to assist your General Dentist in treatment planning for the future needs of your tooth.
